Trang Tran

Trang Tran is a researcher at the Institute of Social and Economic Research (ISER), University of Alaska. She earned her B.A. in International Studies from the University of Danang, Vietnam and a Master of Public Policy from Oregon State University (OSU). Tran is an independent documentary film producer best known for her work on the documentary, The American War (2018). Before going to the U.S to pursue her graduate degree, she served as a project coordinator and worked side-by-side with the U.S. Navy during their annual humanitarian missions in Vietnam.
